Who is this Guy?!

My name is Roger Sullivan and before you read another word let me set some expectations for you. I may not be what society calls and “educated” man. I am however a “learned” man. You see as you read this blog you will no doubt find all sorts of grammatical errors, spelling too if it were not for automatic spell check. I do however possess a certain skill set that makes me a bit different than most people. I am a 20+ year student registered at the University of Hard Knocks. The curriculum is hard and expensive and the only way out is to quit, for I have not found one graduate. All who register and attend this University know that it is a lifetime enrollment, for it we are not growing we are dying.

I have become what is known as a Serial Entrepreneur. I have ideas, lots of ideas. I am not afraid to act on them either. I have always had something going and it has been an interesting ride.

I am starting this blog really more for me as a journal through the road of entrepreneurship. As I start this blog I find myself on the cusp of something that could become quite big and if when it takes off the way it is expected to I expect someone to say, “what an amazing overnight success”. It is my hope to communicate the 20 plus years of struggle that have brought me to this point. To shed light on the fact that there is no such thing as an overnight success and it is by no means  easy.

I have been blessed / cursed with an entrepreneurial spirit most of my life. Luckily I married an amazing woman that not only has put up with me for over 20 years and counting, but been my biggest cheerleader. Amy and I also have managed to raise 4 of the most amazing boys a couple could ask for. We live in a suburb of Seattle, Washington where we are really about 30 minutes from most anything you could want to do unless its hang out in 85 degree sunshine!

If you are still with me and have been able to put up with this much, hangout for a while and see kind of crazy crap I will say next!
